Log your first trade
Write the trade down after the session: what you planned, what you got, which rules you kept.
Open Trades and press Log a trade. One form covers the whole record, and a trade takes a minute or two to write down.
What the record holds
- The instrument, long or short, and the setup it was
- The entry, stop and target you planned, with the planned R they imply
- The entry and exit you actually got
- How far it ran your way before it turned, and how far it went against you, both optional
- Which of your rules you kept, ticked from the trade's card after saving
Everything stays editable afterwards, from the trade's card. The stats compute from what you write: rule adherence, performance per setup, and the gap between planned and realised R.
Planning ahead is there if you work that way
The same form has a Plan ahead switch. A plan saved before the trade waits under review until you fill in what happened.
Log skipped setups too
A setup you saw and passed on can be logged as a skip, with whether it would have paid.
Trades from before today count too. Backfilling a week after the fact is a normal way to start.
