Import your fills

Read your platform's export so the entry and exit are never typed by hand.

The importer itself needs no credential and no connection: it reads the fill export your platform produces. Whichever route the fills arrive by, TradeLunar has no way to place, modify or cancel an order.

If your platform is one TradeLunar connects to directly (Topstep, tastytrade, TradeStation, cTrader), you do not need a file at all: Connect your platform covers that. The importer is for everything else, and almost every platform exports a file it can read. If it cannot find what it needs, it tells you and saves nothing.

Bring a file in

  • Export your fills from your platform for the dates you want.
  • Open Trades, then Import fills, and choose the file or paste it in.

It pairs the fills into completed trades, finds the trade you logged for each one, and shows you every pairing before writing anything. Confirm, and the entry and the exit are filled in for you. It will not overwrite a trade you have already reviewed.

A trade with no matching plan is listed with the reason rather than guessed at, and you can always enter one by hand instead.

TradeLunar can't place, modify or cancel an order on any connected account, and no code path to an order endpoint exists. Where a platform's credential isn't scoped read-only by the vendor (Topstep's isn't), the connect screen says so in words before you paste it.
