Connect your platform

A connection pulls your fills and balance straight from the platform's own record, so nothing is typed from memory. Every connection uses a credential you create at your platform, in your own name, and can revoke there any time. Disconnecting in TradeLunar deletes the stored login immediately.

What each platform needs

• Topstep: their API subscription, then an API key from TopstepX settings. Topstep does not issue read-only keys, and the connect screen says exactly that before you paste one.
• tastytrade: create an OAuth application and grant in your tastytrade profile, then paste the client secret and refresh token. The grant is read-scoped.
• TradeStation: request their free API key for your funded account, sign in once with their key tools, and paste the key, secret and refresh token.
• cTrader: create an application in the cTrader Open API portal, authorise it with the view-only accounts scope, and paste the credentials and tokens. Works with any cTrader broker or prop account.

What a connection does, and never does

Syncing reads accounts, fills and balances, and that is the whole list. Nothing in TradeLunar can place, change or cancel an order, and no code path to an order endpoint exists. Accounts sync when you open the app and on demand from Manage accounts.
