Rule adherence
How adherence is scored per rule against your own playbook, and what the trend shows.
Rule adherence is the share of trades where you followed a given rule, tracked per rule over time.
Your rules live in the playbook, and every review checks the trade against them, rule by rule. Each rule keeps its own rate, so one weak habit can't hide inside a blended score.
Where the score comes from
- The rules you wrote in the playbook
- The review's check of every rule against that plan
- A count of how often each rule is the one that broke
A worked example
Say your checklist has six rules. Across 40 reviewed trades, 34 came through with every rule kept, so your clean-trade rate is 85%. Of the six that did not, four broke the same rule, which is the one worth working on first.
Adherence is measured against rules you wrote yourself, so every rule being scored is one you chose. A low rate on a rule is information to work with, and the trend shows whether the work is landing.
